Never Stop Believing In Yourself + My Good News
I know we can sometimes get ourselves wrapped up in a whole bunch of negative self-talk. Maybe we’ve even told ourselves that we aren’t good enough, will never reach our goals or never amount to anything. Does this sound familiar to you at all? I’ve been there, trust me. There are some days when I’ve just wanted to stay in bed all day with the covers drawn over my head. Sometimes I’ve felt like I wasn’t reaching my goals fast enough or maybe it felt like I wasn’t making any progress on something I wanted to accomplish. Do you ever feel like that when it comes to your health, your weight, your body image, relationships, or career? I just wanted to let you know that this isn’t a race. If we start by making small steps day by day, we WILL get to where we want to go. We are each on our own path with our own lessons to learn.
One little dream of mine for the past couple of years now has been to get an article published in an online publication called Elephant Journal. I’ve read and seen lots of other people get their articles published there and thought, “Wow, that would be so fun be able to share some of my thoughts with others and be published someday too.” But, I have to be honest with you. There was this little voice that would come up and say, “Who are you kidding? That will never be you.” I decided to ignore that little voice and took a chance on myself and guess what? I came home last night to find out an article I submitted to Elephant Journal DID get published. So, I had to share this little story with you to tell you to keep working towards your goals. It’s always good to have a little project in mind that we’re working on, whether it’s eating healthier, starting to move our bodies more, or working on having a more peaceful and positive mind.
Here’s a link to the article if you’re interested, and if it resonates with you in some way I’d be so honored if you decided to leave comment and share it with your friends! http://www.
